Grant Support for Dengue Outbreaks in Bangladesh

                                                Women with Disabilities happy for receiving Mosquito Net

Protibandhi Shishu Shiekkha O Paricharja Samity (Proships) uploaded a Project on The outbreak of Dengue fever in Jamalpur ,Bangladesh, Jamalpur district has brought to light the following issues Limited access to medical care Lack of disease awareness lack information about Dengue fever, its symptoms & preventive measures. Families' financial constraints to afford medical costs essential resources needed to manage Dengue infections. Persons with disabilities may find it challenging to reach medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, leading to delayed care. Due to the reason of this project is to address the issues and provide support to protect the health and well-being of Children and Persons with Disabilities in Jamalpur, Bangladesh. Distribute mosquito nets and educate beneficiaries about the importance of mosquito control to prevent Dengue transmission. Conduct targeted awareness campaigns to educate persons with disabilities and their families about Dengue fever, its symptoms, and preventive measures.

During the periods of last three months we have running and held a several programs for above mention. Under the Awareness Campaign conducted Meeting with Community people on the dated 17 July 2024, Numbers of 45 Participants participated on the for-awareness activity. They are educated & importance of mosquito and we are provided one Mosquito net to the women with Disabilities with the presence of government representative. She is very much happy for receiving a Mosquito net, Women with Disabilities are expressed her happiness to GlobalGiving Donors support. We are continuing campaign in our community through publicity and display with Festoon by Children, they are call & attention to the community people with “Save from Dengue “

We are thanking to our donors for Increased awareness about Dengue fever will empower beneficiaries to take preventive measures, reducing the risk of infection. We want to collective initiates for Financial support for medical expenses will enable timely access to healthcare facilities for diagnosis and treatment. Through mosquito net distribution and educational efforts, the incidence of Dengue infections can be minimized. Capacity building will strengthen the region's healthcare system and improve its ability to address future Dengue outbreaks.
