Thank you — we can’t say it enough! Because of your generosity, people impacted by the recent earthquake in Crete were able to receive meaningful support from a trusted nonprofit organization in GlobalGiving’s nonprofit network.
Your donation to the Greece Earthquake Relief Fund powered an emergency grant to Emfasis Foundation, a vetted GlobalGiving nonprofit partner and one of the first organizations to respond in the aftermath of the earthquake. With the help of this donation, Emfasis Foundation dispatched emergency kits containing supplies such as food and medicine in coordination with the local government, reaching more than 500 people impacted by the earthquake.
Your support is advancing community-led recovery, and it means impacted people receive critical resources to help their community rebuild after the earthquake.
This fund is no longer accepting donations, and this will be the last fund report of this kind from our team. Needless to say, we hope you’ll stay in touch!
