We pretty much have kept to our schedule for the first “installment” of the new Forest catalogue and guide. Phase I of the guide focuses on our over 70 species of fungi and should be online by the end of April. Phases II and III will focus on the 224 species of flora and fauna inhabiting the 51-acre Pterocarpus Forest. The 2010 preliminary Forest inventory included only 44 species of flora and 52 of fauna.
We’ll be letting you know when the inventory is about to be published.
The successful conclusion of the Forest Inventory Project has been made possible by the support of generous friends and donors like you – so it’s important for us to say thank you once more! You’ve made this happen!

Details about the Forest Catalogue and the initiatives above will be provided in our next report. But you can also keep up to date by joining our over 7,000 followers on Facebook and 3,000 on Instagram, if you haven’t done so already!
Our commitment to using the Forest as a living classroom for environmental education, as well as a place for passive recreation and scientific research remains steadfast. And our ability to do so is made possible by your support. Thank you!
