Although the summer is grinding to an end, Heal One World is still working full steam ahead! In June, we held our 2nd annual Celebrate Our Neighborhood Eco & Wellness Fair at Club Union with a wonderful turnout and  demonstrations in Tae Bo, Tabata, Yoga and Meditation.

Starting in September, HOW is introducing three free new donation based classes to its schedule: a Simple Tai Chi class of Wednesdays and Saturdays, with leaders from our training, and a beginner Tae Bo class on Saturdays as well as a Spanish yoga class catering to primary spanish speakers on Sunday.

We are excited to announce a new partnership with PATH West Los Angeles where we will begin offering classes to those in transitional housing.  We wil offer both Tai Chi and Yoga.

This October from the 6th through the 16th, we will be hosting our 7th Annual Awareness Film Festival at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles! With an attendance of over 5,000 attendees last year and featuring a whopping 200 films from all corners of the earth as well as Q &A panels and conscious art & music, we’re hopping to see our attendance double this year. You of course, are invited. For more information, please visit www.awarenessfestival.org.

Also, in exciting news we have opened our 2nd branch, in the Central Valley! Fresno is now having Tai Chi and Yoga classes in partnership with HOW and the Fresno Library. Our focus is on providing non-invasive therapies, such as yoga and meditation to underserved populations. Since that time, we have expanded to serve the Central Valley by providing our non-invasive therapies to seniors, veterans, and the disabled.
