We are very grateful with the donations received. With that money we were able to buy food for one (1) day to 50 elders. The elders had been evaluating our food service and they indicated that the food quality is excellent. Also said they want to continue being part of the program.
Two of our elders had been hospitalized. Hector returned home but he lives alone and no one was taking care of him. His condition was fragile and weak. His face changed when he received and ate his meal which made him feel a little stronger. The other one, Glenda, was also at the hospital and when she returned home said that she had missed our meals. We are satified that our program has been able to provide meals to our participants thanks to the contribution of the donators.
Attached is a photo of Hector which is now getting better.
