lndian Association for the Blind (lAB) based in Madurai, South India, is a well-known non-profit
organization working at the grassroots level for the education, employment and rehabilitation of people with
visual challenges. It was established in 1985 by visually challenged activist Late Mr. S.M.A.Jinnah and a group of like-minded visually challenged people to provide comprehensive education, employment and
rehabilitation opportunities for socio-economically disempowered visually challenged children and adults with a special focus on those living in rural areas.
The donations we received from donors for this project has been really beneficial to us. It helps us in moving closer to our aim of providing healthy, nutritious meals three times a day to the visually challenged. We are glad that GlobalGiving helps us by providing a platform like this. It helps us in creating awareness and increasing the chance of receiving donations from donors.
We look forward to raising more through this project by connecting with more donors in future. We are happy to bring about a change through this cause, by providing healthy, balanced meals to our beneficiaries.
