Moya we Khaya community garden

Dear GlobalGiving Friends

time has flown and i am late with this report., But all is well and the farmers are very busy with their summer crops

We took a picture from the air of one of our leading community gardens, called Moya we Khaya (spirit of home)

You can see how the garden is an oasis in a desert. And there are thousands of such oases all over the townships, in small home gardens and  in bigger areas like this, feeding tens of thousands, creating livelihoods among the poor.

These micro-farms are also a refuge for local birdlife and flora!

We are deeply grateful for your interest and support.

Our last funding target was reached! We are now setting a new target and hope you will stay with us into the future. We work with at least 3000 micro-farmers every year so the project always continues.

We hope you are all well, wherever you may be.

With warm good wishes

Rob Small

P.S. come visit anytime, you are always welcome
