Dear donors,
In many rural communities in Nigeria, girls walk long and unsafe distances to school every day. These journeys leave them tired, late, and at constant risk, forcing many to miss classes or drop out entirely. This project will provide 100 schoolgirls with bicycles, helmets, reflective jackets, and basic repair kits to make their daily commute safer and easier. With bicycles, travel time will be reduced, attendance will improve, and girls will arrive ready to learn.
The girls will also receive simple training to maintain their bicycles. Initial support has been received, but not enough to start implementing the project. More funds are needed to purchase bicycles, safety gear, and training materials. Your support will help keep girls in school, protect their safety, and give them a fair chance at education.
Warm regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
