Dear Donors,
Thank you for supporting this project to help 150 at-risk girls in Nigeria pursue nursing education. Your support provides tuition, learning materials, uniforms, and mentorship, empowering girls to build careers in healthcare and improve their futures.
Many girls from low-income families are unable to continue education due to poverty, early marriage, and lack of opportunities. With Nigeria facing a severe shortage of nurses, supporting these girls is critical to strengthen healthcare delivery while breaking cycles of poverty for their families.
This project covers the costs of nursing school, provides mentorship from practicing nurses, and guides students through career development. By removing financial and logistical barriers, the program ensures that girls can complete training, graduate as qualified nurses, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Over time, these graduates will help fill staffing gaps in healthcare, provide quality care in underserved areas, and inspire other young girls to stay in school and pursue professional careers. The project strengthens healthcare, increases women’s employment, and promotes social and economic stability.
At this stage, donations received are not sufficient to launch the project, but we remain hopeful that with continued support, we can help these girls achieve their dreams of becoming nurses.
With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
