Happy holidays everyone!
We are over the moon we had the chance to have not one, but two concerts in the last month!
Our Nicosia nucleo performed alongside 4 children's choir and our Larnaca nucleo performed together on stage for people for the very first time. We shared some very special moments with the audience, who loved it.
During this time we also carried out the seminar ‘The colors of my rainbow: A note to Cultural Heritage’
The aim of the seminar was to bring children with an immigrant biography in touch with musical pieces-heritage, i.e. music pieces that children with an immigrant biography inherited from their countries.
The seminar "Let's meet with the winds" also took place with great success in September in Larnaca.
Children and young people from the Sistema Cyprus Larnaca Nucleo wind and percussion team welcomed children and young people from the city and province of Larnaca, and introduced them to the Sistema world and the musical instruments they play. The young musicians of Sistema were the main teachers of the seminars for each instrument, always under the supervision and guidance of their experienced teachers.The result; Endless music, song, and lots of smiles!
We can't wait for what 2022 brings!
For now, we are resting during the winter break and gathering our strength for new adventures in the upcoming year: stay tuned for many suprises!!
