Since we have started the fundraising for this project we hace collected only 680US$.
We do not seem to be able to mobilize donors for this project. The collected funds are used to by food and each year we have to collect cash.
This is not sustainable and with the stop of USAID in Burkina, some new ways have to be found to provide ressources for this project.
We have started several economical projects with villagers which are bringing additional revenues for the families. Some of this revenues need to be used to by food for the lunch.
The ideal situation is if the food used is also produced by the villagers like the production of Orange Flash Sweet Potatoes.
Our intention is insure that economical projects with the villages have a component which brings products and / or ressources for the Lunch program.
We thank you for your support and encourage you to look at the beekeeping project for women (#25408). We know that women can use part of the additional income from the sales of honey for their children at school.
