Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank everyone who has supported the Help 5,000 Ghana Women Access Family Planning Pills project. Your concern for women’s reproductive health in low-resource communities is deeply appreciated.
In many rural areas of Ghana, women are unable to access family planning pills because clinics frequently run out of stock, travel costs are high, and private services are unaffordable. This lack of access leads to unplanned pregnancies, health risks, school interruption, and added financial pressure on families already struggling to meet daily needs.
This project is planned to provide 5,000 women with a three-month supply of oral contraceptive pills through trained health workers. Women will also receive private counseling on correct and safe use to prevent misinformation and misuse. Outreach teams will reach hard-to-access communities so women can receive services without long travel or added cost.
At this point, the donation received is not enough to start the project yet. Procurement of pills, outreach activities, and counseling sessions cannot begin until additional support is secured.
With adequate funding, this project will help women space pregnancies safely, protect their health, and make informed choices about their bodies and families. We will continue to share updates as progress is made.
Thank you for standing with women who need access to safe and reliable family planning services.
Kind regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
