Help 65 Teenage Mothers Return to School in Kano

Dear Donors,

In Kano State, 65 teenage mothers are hoping for a second chance to continue their education. Your consideration to support this project already gives hope to young mothers who want to continue their education and build better futures for themselves and their children.

Teenage pregnancy remains a serious challenge in northern Nigeria. Many girls drop out of school once they become mothers, and most never return. In Kano, cultural pressures, poverty, and limited childcare options make it even harder for them to resume their studies. Without education, these young mothers face restricted opportunities, while their children inherit the same cycle of poverty and disadvantage.

Our plan is to cover school fees, provide study materials, and arrange childcare support where possible, so that these 65 teenage mothers can focus on learning. We will also work with local schools to ensure that returning mothers are welcomed without stigma. Guidance sessions will be included to help them manage both schooling and motherhood.

Although no funds have been received yet, we are ready to begin once donations arrive. Contributions will go directly into fees, books, uniforms, and supportive services to make sure these mothers not only return to school but also stay until completion.
