This project will provide one year of Conscious Education, an evidence-based approach that develops emotional resilience, critical thinking and life skills, to vulnerable children and young people across Latin America. With your support, local teachers and caregivers in schools and orphanages will be equipped to deliver the program through our scalable Train-the-Trainer model, helping children build the skills they need to break cycles of poverty and violence.
Imagine being eight years old and living in survival mode before you've had the chance to simply be a child. Across Latin America, over 80 million children live in poverty, many surrounded by violence, neglect and chronic stress. When the brain is focused on survival, it becomes harder to regulate emotions, think critically and imagine a different future. Without early support, many remain trapped in cycles of violence and intergenerational poverty.
Your support will provide one year of Conscious Education through EAE, our evidence-based program that combines physical workbooks, digital stories, somatic practices and guided activities to help children develop emotional resilience, critical thinking and life skills. Through our scalable Train-the-Trainer model, local teachers and caregivers are equipped to deliver the program, enabling lasting impact across schools, orphanages and vulnerable communities.
The project will empower 1,700 children with the emotional resilience, self-awareness and critical thinking needed to make healthier decisions, build positive relationships and pursue opportunities that reduce the risk of violence, exclusion and intergenerational poverty. By strengthening the adults who already support them, this project will also create lasting capacity within schools, orphanages and community organizations across Latin America.
