Airlink has been working with over 17 NGO partners over the last year to not only repond to the Greater Horn of Africa dought/food crisis, but also support health systems strengthening efforts across Sub-Saharan Africa. These efforts include combating a number of cholera outbreaks across countries in the Greater Horn of Africa - a secondary disaster as a result of the lack of clean and accessible water.
From 2022 to now, Airlink has helped over 2 million people with the delilvery of nearly 290,000 pounds of critical aid and 79 skilled responders assisting communities in need within the region.
Airlink continues to work with a number of NGO partners such as ADRA, Global Medic, Convoy of Hope, IMA World Health, Rising Against Hunger and more to deliver aid such as fortified rice and soy protein meals, medical suppplies (including O2 analyzers), and WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) supplies.
