Hello to all our wonderful donors,
We are happy to bring you the exciting news that El Shaddai Academy has welcomed its students back to school after a long gap on 1st December 2020 allowing children to return to classrooms after months of online learning.
Both teachers and students were excited to meet one another after a long time. As of now we have around 100 children with 7 Teachers.
School authorities strictly adhered to covid-19 safety guidelines and teachers ensure children regularly wear mask and maintain social distancing. Day one of the reopening was all about reinforcing awareness of COVID-19 guideline, and making the students comfortable with the class and the new normal.
On 6th January, a vaccination camp was conducted by Primary Health Care (PHC) Siolim; where 56 children and 13 staffs were immunized with tetanus vaccine and children below 5 years with Diphtheria Pertussis Tetanus (DPT) & vitamin vaccine.
Thank you for your commitment and support. Your donations make it possible for us to continue to expand our school programs and provide opportunities for children across Goa. Our recurring donors are making a continuous impact and we are truly grateful for the ongoing support. If you are not yet a recurring donor, we warmly invite you to consider https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/help-an-underprivileged-child-go-to-school/?show=recurring.
