As indicated in our previous report, the target of our project is to make clean water assessable to 5000 people in Twifu communities. In this regard more communities including schools identified are waiting to be provided with the water facilities. In the last three months we have added three new Wells, which are under construction in the identified communities. Work on these Well is far advanced with concrete lining on two of the wells completed.
The most important needs for the Wells to be completed are the Hand Pumps. Presently, we shall need seven (7) of the pumps to complete all the seven Wells under construction.
School children in Sacoraa Primary School where one of the Well is located are eager to see the Well completed before they are back to school in September. The school children are very happy because they believe the water would quench their perennial thirst for water and improve sanitation in the school. We are therefore once again appealing to you all to donate generously to meet the present needs of our project.
