Thanks to your generosity, Global Water Challenge (GWC) and women for water are able to support DigDeep’s Navajo Water Project. Together, we are installing Home Water Systems for families in the Navajo Nation who previously lacked the sinks, bathtubs or toilets that are often taken for granted.
By providing sustainable water to these communities, this high-impact partnership is transforming the lives of so many, like Grace, who has lived on the Navajo Nation without water her whole life.
Before receiving her Home Water System, Grace had to travel to a neighboring town 35 miles away to collect water. Now that Grace no longer must pay high prices for water, she is able to put her savings towards her livestock and farm.
Grace is now able to wash dishes, take a shower, do laundry, and cook food with running water in her own home. Access to running water has also allowed Grace to spend more time enjoying her life with friends and family.
GWC and DigDeep are happy to share Grace’s gratitude with you. She thanks you with all her heart and invites you to all the future holiday dinners she plans to have.
