Dear supporter,
Thanks to your generous support, we have were able to conduct a comprehensive hydrological survey in preparation for drilling a community borehole that will serve close to 1000 residents with permanent access to clean and safe water. This critical step marks a major milestone in addressing water scarcity and improving public health within the targeted community.
The survey involved professional hydrogeologists who carried out detailed assessments of underground water potential using scientific methods to determine the most viable drilling location. This process ensured that the borehole will be both productive and sustainable, minimizing the risk of failure and maximizing long-term benefits for the community.
For years, residents have relied on unsafe water sources such as open wells and surface water, exposing them to waterborne diseases and long daily treks in search of water. Women and children have been particularly affected, often spending hours each day collecting water instead of attending school or engaging in productive activities.
With the completion of this hydrological survey, the community is now one step closer to having a reliable and safe water source. Once the borehole is drilled and operational, it will significantly reduce disease, improve hygiene, and enhance overall quality of life. Children will have more time for education, and families will experience reduced healthcare costs.
Thank you for your continued compassion and support. Your kindness is making a meaningful difference in the lives of displaced children and their families, bringing hope and relief when they need it most.
