After ending up their books for an English and computer training and life skill program, students are required to take certificate tests. In September this year, to congratulate to our students’ successful graduation we celebrated certificate delivery ceremony for our Life Skill students, English students, and Computer students. With 139 certificates were offered to English students who successfully graduated from Let’s Go 3 and 6,  with 26 certificates were  offered to Computer students who finished MS. Word program and with 28 certificates were delivered to Life Skill students who passed the  Life Skill program. We really appreciate for all their success and work hard.

One student, Chantha, expressed her feeling about receiving English certificate with Salariin Kampuchea (SK):” My name is Chantha. I am 17 years old.  Currently, I am studying in Smart Class at Salariin Kampuchea.  I am studying let’s go 4. I got a certificate of let’s go 3. I am very happy.

When my friends heard about certificate graduation, they are very happy and gave me a present. My father is very happy too and he buys me a new bike.  I also tell my brother about the certificate after that he takes me to Angkor Wat temple for my success. Later, I went to my grandmother’s house. I told her about my success and she is very happy. Finally, I am very happy and grateful for my teachers, family and friends encourage me”.

Spelling and Honey Bee Result:

In September, the Spelling and Honey Bee were conducted for a special annual competition which helps students with their English vocabulary. Ending with final competition, there were six students became champions with winning awards, three winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd winner) from Honey Bee, three winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd winner) for Spelling Bee.

One student, Van, expressed his feeling about his winning in Spelling Bee Competition with SK:” Hello teachers! My name is Van. I am 18 years old and am a student in Grade 12 at Angkor high school. I have got three brothers and two sisters. I am the fourth child.

I want to tell you about my success in Spelling Bee Competition. Salariin Kampuchea trains and coaches its students to improve their English. It was very proud of the six students who were the best of all. Among six of them, I was the first champion speller and it was the second time for me too. The reason that I got the success was coming from y working hard including the encouragement from my neighbors and teachers. Moreover, I want to know the words such as new word meanings, synonyms, part of speech and especially the pronunciations.

In that time, I wrote and read the words again and again. I also copies the words in my notebook classified by alphabet. I learnt about them all the times at home, school and other places.

Finally, I got successful and I was very satisfied. Next time, if I have an opportunity I will try my best again”.
