Enhancing Education with Clean Water: Progress at Henry B. Bennah, Sr. School

By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader

The completed well
The completed well

Your continued support for underprivileged children at the Henry B. Bennah, Sr. School in Liberia is greatly appreciated. In mid-March 2023, we embarked on a well construction project at the school. By July 2023, the first phase, including digging, casting, and installing the top, was successfully completed.

The next phase, which involved installing a hand pump and a water tower, was completed in the spring of 2024. This well provides convenient water access for the school, eliminating the need for students and faculty to walk to neighboring wells for water.

Recently, the well was cleaned, and the water was treated for safe drinking. It now provides not only safe drinking water but also water for cooking and washing utensils.

Your support truly makes a lasting difference for the future leaders of Liberia. By investing in education, you are laying a strong foundation for continued growth and development. Your contributions empower and transform lives, fostering real change as families and communities are uplifted.

If you haven't yet set up a recurring donation, we invite you to start one today. Every dollar makes a difference!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

With great appreciation,

Amy & the Develop Africa Team
