Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank our first donor for supporting the Help Girls in School Get Reusable Sanitary Pads project. Your generosity made it possible for us to carry out the first phase of this important effort, reaching girls who needed support to stay in school.
In many low income communities across Abuja, girls still face challenges during their menstrual cycle due to lack of access to sanitary pads. This continues to affect attendance, confidence, and participation in school activities.
While we are grateful for the progress made so far, no additional donations have been received since our last report. As a result, we are unable to proceed with the next phase of distribution at this time due to limited funds.
This project remains focused on providing reusable sanitary pads and basic hygiene guidance so girls can attend school without interruption. The first phase has shown how access to these materials can support regular attendance and reduce discomfort.
We remain hopeful that with further support, we will be able to carry out the next phase and reach more girls who are still waiting for this assistance.
Thank you once again for the kindness shown so far. We look forward to sharing more progress in future updates as support becomes available.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
