Cerebral Palsy Children Support and Progress

PROTIBANADHI SHISHU SHIEKKHA O PARICHARJA SAMITY (PROSHIPS) is a nonprofit, and voluntary organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Persons with Disabilities in Jamalpur, Bangladesh. Our focus is on empowering women, adolescent girls, and children by ensuring access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Among our key initiatives is the provision of therapeutic and medical health services for children with Cerebral Palsy (CP), aiming to foster their independence and dignity.

During the reporting Period Our Coworker Providing regular physiotherapy and conducted medical care to enhance mobility and overall health. As a result promoting awareness and education for families regarding Cerebral Palsy management in the family &.Strengthening community engagement to ensure inclusive social integration, Advocating for the rights and needs of children with disabilities.

Our primary goal is to improve the well-being and functional abilities of children with Cerebral Palsy through specialized medical and therapeutic support.

Our reporting Children have immediate improvement in motor skills and cognitive development and Increased awareness among caregivers about their Cerebral Palsy children management and also reduction in healthcare burdens through accessible medical support. Enhanced social inclusion and acceptance of disabled children, Sustainable economic empowerment for families through skill-building initiatives, Strengthened community support networks for continued care and advocacy.

Children happy for Organize Free Medical Camp

Children happy for Organize Free Medical Camp .

Parents are very much tensions feels with their child health because home is far distance from urban medical Centre. Parents are illiterate and care less and not aware about their treatment and also suffers from inferiority complex. Our Working area is remote area of Islampur upazilla under Jamalpur district ,Its Northern part of Bangladesh. Her parents are very poor day labor and Mother is house wife. Her parents cannot bear any cost of the health services like therapeutically services & medicine.

On the date of 30^th September 2024 Our Organizations provide treatment services camp for Cerebral palsy Children & others Disable Children in our office premises for Children health services for their ability increase to ensure health services, We have one Medical officer conducted the free medical camp for children good heal ,Doctors addressing re-assessment and need Diagnosis for treatment their Physical improvement. Organization provide Medicine and distribution in to the Children . Children & parents come to our Centre for their rehabilitation they have needs support to General health services on doctor’s fee, diagnosis cost, Medicine and others related health in order to make them physically and emotionally capable to lead a successful life. Mother is very much tense free at this moment and happy our services for her children. Mother are explain their feeling “We are very happy for Doctors services for Children health in our School Campus and we are not affording expenses so it is free from money expenses from the organizational services.

If we are support to health services on Doctors fee, Diagnosis cost, Medicine and others related health in order to make them physically and emotionally capable to lead a successful life. Overall health would be ensured to create a healthier society.

Organization wants together collectively support for the children health and they will helpful economical and mental support for their health services. Parents will be helpful and grateful with our valuable donors”.

Parent happy for Health service activities.

Jesmin (Unknown) is a Cerebral palsy girl in our working area at Islampur upazilla under Jamalpur district northern Part of Bangladesh . Jesmin parents are very poor Day labour Mother is house wife. Her parents cannot bear any cost of the health services. Jesmin need support to therapeutically services for walking and development , Need support for General health services on doctors fee , Diagnosis cost , Medicine and others related health in order to make them physically and emotionally capable to lead a successful life. Jesmin parents very much feeling tensions with their girls health because home is far distance from urban medical Centre. Parents are illiterate and care less and not aware about their adolescent girls treatment and also suffers from inferiority complex. As a result they have no accesses to health services from medical Centre.

Our Organizations Continued services from very earlier and recently Conducted to her family and support to her child for therapy services on the date 24^th May 2024 for their ensure health services, we are addressing the services are re-assessment and Diagnosis for treatment their Physical improvement and Provide Medicine to the Children and Mental support. Beside we are established referral services for advanced treatment and also general health to the district service Centre (Protibandhi seba O Shajja Kendra(PSOSK) Jamalpur. Now Children is standing & walking mother support and with walker. Mother of the Child is very much happy for child development (Activity picture attached with in this Progress report (Therapeutically services & Walking with mother )

Under the services numbers of 60 (sixty) children and Adolescent girls received medicine support. Jesmin Family and also others Parents are explain their feeling “We are not affording expenses so it is free from money expenses from the organizational services. it is good for our families and we are grateful”. We apologies our donors ,If we are support collectively to health services on Doctors fee , Diagnosis cost , Medicine and others related health in order to make them physically and emotionally capable to lead a successful life. Overall health would be ensured to create a healthier society.
