Dear friends,
First and foremost, we hope that you and your families are well and healthy!
We are very happy to inform you that, despite current challenges, our project “Give Mexican Children with Cancer the Gift of Life” has been funded.
In Mexico, child cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death among the little ones. Each year, there are around 5,000 new cases and the survival rate is around 50%. However, since 1990, “Casa de la Amistad” (“House of Friendship”) has helped more than 12,700 low-income girls, boys and young people who suffer from cancer in Mexico, by providing a custom-made, comprehensive and free of cost treatment. None of this would have been possible without your help.
We would like to say thank you, to each and every one of you. Thank you, for your great sense of commitment, solidarity and care. Thank you, for supporting our cause and letting us continue our endeavour. Thank you, for every donation that meant a medicine, a bed, a plate of food… a day of gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times over!
We sincerely hope that we can continue to collaborate with you and together, give children the gift of life! In order to do so, we invite you to check out our other projects, as well as our website and social networks:
Kind regards on behalf of our entire community.
“If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.”
