Project Report | Feb 7, 2024
Exams are getting closer...

By Iwona Olkowicz | project coordinator

/Polish version below/

A group of 12 people are fiercely studying Polish up to 2 times a week for 3 hours each in order to pass the state exam.

The exam date is April 20-21, 2024, and we are happy and worried at the same time. Rejoices because our group still has more than 2 months to learn the material for the exam. Worries because we don't have the resources to continue the classes....

Back in December we had to terminate our contract with Ms. Raisa, who took care of the children while their parents attended Polish classes. Now we only have funds for classes until the end of February... Therefore, we very much ask for your support - any donation will help us better prepare the 10 ladies and 2 men for the state exam, which is not easy.

Click on http://goto.gg/57461 and make a donation so that we can continue the support that the class participants are counting on.

And what's up with the class participants?

The last class dealt with the subject of holidays and traditions, both religious and national. Each topic is an opportunity to compare a given situation in Poland and Ukraine. Next to each topic are exercises in Polish grammar. Ania, the lecturer, uses word games to make the lessons more interesting, and each lesson begins with brief accounts of what good things happened to the participants. Ania tries to take care of the positive atmosphere in the classes.

Oleg, one of the younger class participants, is the most diligent student! He very much wants to pass the exam so that he can develop his business in Poland, as he plans to stay here and start a family. The four ladies, Oksana, Lena, Wiktoria and Hania, are also strongly determined to receive a certificate confirming their knowledge of Polish at B1 level. These people are very diligently preparing for the exam. The others are afraid they won't make it and won't be able to cope with the stress. They would benefit from classes to boost their confidence and help them control their stress. But we don't have the resources for that....

We believe that by the end of February we will be able to raise the funds to continue the classes and that the whole group will take the exam with peace of mind and good preparation and get the certificate. Please help us! Go here: http://goto.gg/57461 and make a donation so that we can continue the support that the class participants are very much counting on.

Egzaminy coraz blizej…

12 osobowa grupa z zacieciem uczy sie polskiego az 2 razy w tygodniu po 3 godziny, aby zdac egzamin panstwowy.

Termin egzaminu to 20-21 kwietnia 2024. Cieszy nas i martwi jednoczesnie.

Kazdy temat do okazja do porównywania danej sytuacji w Polsce i w Ukrainie.

Przydalyby sie im zajecia wzmacniajace pewnosc siebie i pomagajace panowanie nad stresem.
