As August comes to a close, we’re looking back on a month filled with so many wonderful moments, and we couldn’t wait to share the joy with you:

• Mother’s Day Blessings: In Thailand, Mother’s Day is celebrated on August 12th in honor of the Queen’s birthday. We hosted a fantastic outreach and gave out 1,000 gift bags to mothers working in the local bars. Many of these women shared heartfelt stories about how much they miss their children, and it was such a privilege to speak words of encouragement and hope into their lives on their special day.
• Upgraded Homes: Thanks to fresh purchases, 19 rooms across our houses got upgraded with new furniture! We asked the women what would make their living feel truly cozy. They requested vanity tables with chairs, extra shelving, and microwaves. Ikea arrived with three whole trucks to deliver and assemble everything, and the places look amazing—everyone is absolutely thrilled!
• A Refreshed Nursery: The biggest, brightest smiles came from our little ones! Our Nursery received a brand-new couch, tiny armchairs just for the kids, bookshelves, and lots of fun new items. The children are having a blast playing in their newly decorated space.
• Training Milestones: Our Tamar Vocational and Life Training is in full swing! The women have been working incredibly hard, taking on new challenges, and growing every single day. They are officially two-thirds of the way through and have just one month left to go!
