Hello everybody! Thank you again for all your donations and help with our work in Pattaya, Thailand. It is nice to see so many of you being willing to help and support us. Therefore today I would like to share something nice with you: Last Friday (August 26th) we had the graduation party of the 18th Tamar Training Program. Eight of our Students graduated after being for three month in this training course. The course consisted of vocational training (Hairdressing, Baking, Handicraft making and Sewing), counseling and also bible teaching. The women in this course did an amazing job and we are glad to see them happy and ready for their new life. From the 8 women that graduated, one was employed by a hair dressing salon in town and one women has started to work in an aids home as a caregiver for kids. The other six women will stay with us for the the next couple of month to receive further training and counseling. One will work fulltime in our bakery, one in our restaurant and the rest will be helping us to produce beautiful christmas cards and other things.
Please have a look at the pictures from the gradution. Thank you for making our work possibe!
