We believe this could be such an enriching experience for all of us. However, funds for Soy Nina are very limited and we dont believe we should use operating funds to help us with the trip. That is why we created this campaign.
With your monetary support or with receiving donated miles (we can receive donated miles from airlines such as United), we will be able to cover the airfare costs. Each of us can and wants to cover our own lodging and food. We just really need help with the airfare. As of June 19th, we have raised, between this link and our bank account in Costa Rica, over $6,000. We still need a bit more so that four us can go to Women Deliver. Thanks to your generosity, three of us are confirmed to go!
We will foster our global vision. We will meet potential donors. We will meet with others around the world who are also working in girl-serving organizations. We will be able to create long-term partnerships around the world. We will share better practices with others. This will translate into improving our day-to-day operations in administrative work, fundraising, and most importantly, in our programming and impact evaluation. So much more!
