By Karina Canales | Stray Animal Project Co-Founder & CEO
Our nonprofit Stray Animal Project was born as a dream to prevent animal suffering in Peru where there are millions of dogs and cats on the streets. We have been working on long term solutions like funding neuter/spay programs and providing education on responsible pet ownership, and we just crossed another milestone.
Today we want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts because thanks to your donations we were able to provide support in a disaster area for the first time. The beautiful pictures below are from our last neuter/spay campaign organized in Cieneguilla-Lima, an area where a massive landslide struck a few months ago. The affected families asked help for their pets and we showed up and fixed 70 dogs and cats.
Not only you've changed these animals’ lives but also you’ve prevented many many MANY others from suffering on the streets by funding these surgeries
We hope we can continue counting on you to help the next 100 animals! THANK YOU!
