Food Relief Service: End hunger by feeding a child

Thank you for your loyalty during this blessed month and all year round!  Your support brings smiles and hope to thousands of underserved children from the slums and streets in Goa, India, giving them the tools to better their futures!

In many slums and streets of Goa, children and families wait every day for a one-time meal amid difficult living conditions and limited resources. This reality had driven El Shaddai for relief and development to continue with the meal distribution project to ease this ongoing hardship. The project aims to provide meals to the most vulnerable children and families in the cities of Panjim, Margao and Vasco. Distribution is carried out on a daily basis to ensure consistent support and reach as many beneficiaries as possible.

El Shaddai ensures that the meal is delivered in a respectful and organised manner, maintaining dignity while avoiding overcrowding and ensuring a smooth process. This initiative had a noticeable impact in reducing daily pressure on many families by helping them secure one of their most essential needs, while also giving them a sense of care and support. The program provided consistent daily meals, resulting in measurable improvements in school attendance, concentration, and academic engagement.

This  project socially helped to

• Enhance parental engagement in children’s education
