Food Relief Service: End hunger by feeding a child

Greetings from El Shaddai Charitable Trust. We are glad to announce our latest update on " Food Relief Service: End hunger by feeding a child" Project.

Normally, a meal is a source of Nourishment. However, for a destitute child a meal is also a source of happiness, contentment and hope.

Our El Shaddai Food Distribution Service rigorously provides nutritious meals and essential food supplies to vulnerable children and families. Through regular feeding programs and emergency food distribution, we assist in improving health and wellbeing of many underprivileged children. This would help in eradicating malnutrition among these children and families. Eventually, they could see a ray of hope and are able to focus on building a bright life. They are nurtured and blessed for a great future.

This Feeding Programme is one of the valuable activities of El Shaddai Charitable Trust. This ensures that every needy child or family is provided with the required food facilities. Through these regular food services, the destitute children and families are gifted with a sense of security and hope to look for a better future. They are able to think beyond the basic needs of life.

El Shaddai is serving Midday meals religiously to destitute children in Schools, Day care centres and Special Care Homes which are spread across several parts of Goa, Karnataka and Mumbai. Food Distribution Service takes place even in deprived areas like slums and on streets. These tremendous activities aid in the betterment of these families and society. This noble activity has always been possible due to the generosity of our Sponsors associated to El Shaddai Charitable Trust. We are immensely grateful to the kind hearted Donors, Sponsors and all those who are connected to this Food Distribution Service project through their valuable contribution.

India faces a serious hunger crisis despite its economic growth.

Although the country has made progress in addressing some aspects of hunger, challenges remain in ensuring food security and access to nutritious food for all. 

Hunger and poverty in children are a global crisis with devastating effects on a child's health, development, and future. Children experiencing food poverty lack access to nutritious diets, leading to severe consequences like stunted growth, increased disease risk, cognitive impairment, and higher mortality rates.

El Shaddai charitable trust has been constantly striving towards aiding all children and individuals by providing nutritious food and ensuring that the children do not suffer from malnutrition.

El Shaddai provides midday meals to the children at the homes, the schools, on the streets, in the slums and all the underprivileged communities in Goa. Many children and their Families struggle with chronic hunger and malnutrition consistently go without the nutrients their minds and bodies need, which then prevents them from being able to perform their best at work, school, or to improve their lives.
