Help us launch our first podcast!

Podcasts are highly popular in Chile, with recent studies (2025) indicating that 68% of Chileans listen to this format and a third do so weekly; Tomás Va a Morir, Primerizas El Podcast, and Expertas en Nada are some of the most listened to on Spotify, dominating genres such as humor, self-help, and conversation, although fictional productions like Caso 63 are also very popular. With our idea to launch an expert podcast on sustainability we are convinced that we can tap into this growing market and highly popular way of "consuming media", learning and entertainment.

We have had two meetings with a podcast expert and she offered to orient us in this dynamic media landscape and give us some ideas about how to go about our project, how to plan a season and also how to promote our podcast, which will be key to making sure we achieve rapid growth in the first season and make it economically sustainable in the long run.

We have also been getting quotes for different podcast studios that you can rent by the hour and it includes editing, which would help us save our funds and spend it on graphic design and social media promotion to get to as many people as possible. While we first had the idea to tape the podcast in our office, we found out that it´s very expensive and kind of a logistical headache so we have decided to go for the rent a space option. 

We plan to launch the podcast in Q2 2026 (april/ may), just after the summer holidays which over here in the southern hemispehere end in the first week of march.
