A street children project refers to an initiative aimed at addressing the issues facing children who live and work on the streets. Alkhidmat Foundation is currently running 63 Child Protection Centers. These projects typically involve various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and community-based organizations, working together to provide these children with essential services such as education, healthcare, and protection from abuse.
Street children predominantly do not have access to the basic needs of life for which they have to come out and work, when their age is to play and learn. Nationally and internationally, child labor is a crime but child labor is not given any importance. The synoptic view of all this clarify that it has adverse effects upon these children, society and economy. These children are neglected by parents, family society and government. Pakistan ranks 161 out of 192 on the Humanitarian Development
