Thousands of veterans were unlawfully discharged or retired without pensions, leaving families without support. Many cannot pay for school fees, medical care, or even daily meals. Children are dropping out of school while parents suffer untreated illnesses. This project will provide healthcare access, food support, and one-year school fees for children from 500 struggling veterans' families. Urgent help is needed to keep them healthy, educated, and stable.
Many veterans were discharged unlawfully or retired without pension benefits especially those who served in the war against Boko Haram terrorism. Without income, they struggle to provide food, healthcare, and school fees for their children. Families are pushed into poverty, and children are forced out of classrooms. With no health coverage, preventable illnesses remain untreated, worsening their hardship and leaving families without safety or stability.
This project will support 500 veterans' families with one-year school fees, books, and uniforms for children, plus basic healthcare for parents. It will relieve families of the immediate financial burden, keep children in classrooms, and provide medical care for those who cannot afford it. Families will receive both education and health support to improve daily living conditions.
By paying school fees and providing healthcare, this project will help children stay in school and build better futures. Parents will receive treatment that allows them to work and care for their families. In the long term, education reduces poverty risks, while healthier families contribute to stronger communities. Supporting veterans honors their service and helps break cycles of suffering.
