During the first half of the year, we celebrated very special news: Alexis graduated as a Higher Technician in International Trade.
Alexis began his journey with MUJERES 2000 with a clear goal: to pursue his education and build a professional future in the field of International Trade. Over the years, we accompanied him as he progressed through his studies, faced new challenges, and remained committed to his education.
His graduation represents much more than earning a degree. It is the result of years of effort, dedication, and perseverance, and also the beginning of a new stage in which he can continue growing and developing professionally.
Each graduation reminds us of the impact that sustained educational support can have. Behind every degree, there is a story, challenges overcome, important decisions, and a network of people who help make it possible for that journey to continue.
2027 Starts Being Built Today
While we celebrate the achievements of those advancing in their educational journeys, we are also preparing for the opportunities ahead.
During the second half of the year, we will begin a new University Orientation and Engagement Process (OVU), a key stage of the Acceder Estudiando program that will allow us to meet and select the young women who will become part of the new group of scholarship recipients in 2027.
The process is designed to get to know each applicant as a whole person: her interests, motivations, goals, abilities, and commitment to pursuing and sustaining a university education. From registration through each stage of the selection process, our team will provide close follow-up so that participants can overcome any difficulties that may arise and begin building the relationship that will continue throughout their studies.
Just as we are currently accompanying 10 young people who are completing their first semester, in the coming months we will begin meeting a new generation of students and learning about their goals and aspirations.
Because an educational opportunity does not begin on the first day of class. It begins much earlier: with every story we hear, every goal we listen to, and every relationship we build.
Thank you for being part of this network and for supporting us so that more young people can turn their educational goals into new opportunities for their future.
