Hello from Cambodia!
We just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you again for your generosity in supporting the work we do here at M’Lop Tapang. Your donations have helped us to continue to be able to provide much needed services to disadvantaged Cambodia children and youth in the local area.
With your help, children like 15 year old Makara* who had to drop out of school in Grade 3 because of a family environment of poverty, alcoholism, and violence, are getting the chance to be back in the classroom and catch up with their studies. For the last two years Makara has been attending remedial classes at M’Lop Tapang’s Education Center and has done well enough that soon she will be re-entering the public school system. Your donations have helped to make sure that Makara and hundreds of other children like her have a hot healthy lunch every school day. For many of the children and youth, these meals are the most nutritious they will have each day.
