Lunchtime at M'Lop Tapang
Hello from Cambodia!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you again for your donations to support the work of M'Lop Tapang.
We recently produced a very short little video (48 seconds) about lunchtime here at our Education Center that I thought you might enjoy watching if you had time. Our team made the video ourselves so it is not the most profressional looking, but we hope it gives you an idea of why your donations are so important and appreciated.

From everyone here at MLop Tapang, thank you again for your support and encouragement.

Thank you for you supporting M'Lop Tapang

Hot lunches for disadvantaged children
Hello from M’Lop Tapang.
This morning I was talking to one of the students at our Education Center, a bright young 12-year old girl named Bopha (name changed for confidentiality). She has been attending classes here for about 1 ½ years now. Like all of the children we work with she comes from a very poor family and before coming to school with us she used stayed home to take care of her younger siblings while her parents went to work. When I asked her why she liked coming to M’Lop Tapang she told me “I want to learn to read and write so I can help my parents.” I learned that both Bopha’s parents are illiterate and she is the first in her family to go to school.
I wanted to thank you again for your donations and support for the food program at M’Lop Tapang. Because of your help hundreds of boys and girls like Bopha who are attending education programs at M’Lop Tapang are provided with a free hot lunch. For many of them it is the most nutritious meal they will have each day.
Again, thank you so much for all your help and support.
All the best,
Sarin

How to prepare lunch for a hungry crowd

Lunchtime at M'Lop Tapang
Hello from everyone at M’Lop Tapang.
We wanted to say thank you again for you support and donations to our food program and helping to make sure that children and youth in education and training programs have a healthy, hot lunch.
Lunchtime is one of the busiest times of the day at M’Lop Tapang’s Education Center. Since you can’t be here to see it for yourself we put together a very short video that I hope you will enjoy viewing and give you a glimpse into how your donations are used (and a few cooking tips if you ever have to prepare lunch for 500 hungry kids). The link to the video is at the bottom of this letter.
Your support is truly making a difference for children like 13 year old Vibol and his two younger brothers. There are among the hundreds of children that are receiving nutritious hot lunches. These three brothers come from a very poor family and until recently were not going to school but are now in our education program to help them catch up with their studies. Knowing that they can have a hot lunch is a big incentive for coming to class every day.
Thank you again for your generosity.
Sincerely,
Eve Saosarin
Director
