Hello from Cambodia.
Thank you so very much to everyone who has participated in M’Lop Tapang’s Gateway Challenge through GlobalGiving since we started it on May 1st. It is exciting for us to see support coming not only Cambodia, but also from people from England and Ireland, Canada, Australia, USA, and Hong Kong. And thank you as well to the several people who chose to stay anonymous – we’re not sure where you are from, but we appreciate the donations and encouragement.
So far we have raised more than $3000 USD; an amazing amount! And because all donations made to M’Lop Tapang online through GlobalGiving until June 5th will be matched by Firetree Asia (USA) that means that together we have actually raised more than $6000.
We also wanted to let you know that you support does make a difference. I realize how busy everyone is and so to keep this short we produced a quick video yesterday and uploaded it on YouTube so you can see just exactly what your money is being spent on… “Lunchtime in 32 seconds”. The GlobalGiving online challenge ends on June 5th so we still have about 2 more weeks to go, but because of you we are off to a terrific start! Thank you.
