For vulnerable girls, the path through adolescence can be filled with barriers. Poverty, teenage pregnancy, caregiving responsibilities, stigma, lack of school necessities, and limited access to information can interrupt education and place their futures at risk.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation works to keep girls connected to education, mentorship, health information, skills development, and supportive relationships.
Through initiatives such as Keep Her in School and our broader Nurture 200 Lives program, we seek to address practical barriers that can prevent girls from remaining engaged in learning. Support may include educational necessities, mentorship, menstrual health support, counselling, skills development, and engagement with families and communities.
For girls who have already experienced pregnancy or dropped out of school, our work also focuses on creating pathways forward rather than allowing their circumstances to define their entire future.
Donors help make these opportunities possible.
A contribution can help provide a girl with the support she needs to remain connected to learning, participate in mentorship, develop practical skills, or regain confidence after experiencing a major setback.
The goal is not simply to keep a girl in a classroom. It is to help her develop the knowledge, confidence, resilience, and skills to make informed choices about her future.
When we stand with vulnerable girls today, we help create stronger possibilities for tomorrow—for the girls themselves, their children, families, and communities.
