The Barbuda Shutter programme would have been an excellent project for Barbuda. It would have been able to provide a local carpenter with an income and an apprentice the ability to learn a skill. However the shutter programme will be deactivated. Unfortunately we are unable to commit to doing the fundraising due to time restraints. However this is something that we will be very much interested in doing with GlobalGiving in the next wave.
We have raised no funds on this occasion but know with commitment and enthusiasm we will be able to meet the target in the next round.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
