Ask What Does 17 Represent In The Aumazo Life?

By Jacqueline Audige | Founder

Happy Seventeen Aumazo
Happy Seventeen Aumazo

This May 24, 2022, we celebrate the Aumazo 17th anniversary. Pretend our child has reached the end of the teenage years. We have done all we can to put the organization on the growth path. Thank you for your involvement and support.

Consider the following significant accomplishments in the last 17 years:

  1. We started constructing our flagship high school, completed the library, and opened the doors to our tutoring students.
  2. We upgraded the kilometer-long track from the village to the school to provide year-round access for students and trucks hauling building materials to the construction site.
  3. Cameroon Ministry of Education issued official permission to open and operate the school legally.
  4. We started the tutoring program to help middle school girls in rural communities pass the mandatory national exams required for entry into high school. So far, 58 girls have successfully passed the high school entrance exam.
  5. We included the scholarship program for participants who passed the mandatory high school exams as a bridging measure. Thus far, seven girls in the program graduated with their high school diplomas.
  6. We established ZOMABuild, a construction business that will eventually support CoReTecK Kamarie operating costs.
  7. We completed the water tower and will soon have clean drinking water at the school site.

What comes to your mind when you take notice of all the achievements? EXCEPTIONAL!

We recognize the extraordinary support you provided us throughout the years. It gave us unique abilities to deliver greatness on shoestrings.

As positive as it is, this assessment still reminds us that we have a lot to do. A few days ago, we revisited the promise Aumazo made in 2005. We realized that we still had more work to do to match our commitment to the broader goals.

You have been a pillar to Aumazo Village for 17 years without hesitation. We know you will be there to usher Aumazo to adulthood.

We are paving the way forward with you. We are grateful to you for your undeniable support and thank you for bringing the organization successfully this far.

Sincere Gratitude,

Jacqueline Audige and the Board
