From July 7th to 17th, 2023, we sent four volunteer teams which are 58 volunteers to four local rural primary schools in Huaiji County, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, to deeply serve 217 left-behind children and create a memorable and meaningful Summer Camp. Through resilience class, children learn to team work, problem solving and responsible choices etc.;
Among them, self-esteem cultivation, emotional management, frustration education, the power of example can help students establish optimism. Safety and health classes, sex education and other courses help local students improve their awareness of self-protection and healthy living.
In the basketball class, the volunteers according to the children's age and the technical level grouping teaching, make the children feel the joy of the game of basketball. Children spare no efforts into the basketball training. Despite the hot weather, the children through the camp activities not only in physical exercise, more important is to appreciate in the basketball team, emotion management, and frustration education, etc.
In the dance class, the teachers taught the individual elements of the dance and the movement of counting time, so that the students could practice and consolidate with the music.
