Project Report | Jun 26, 2018
Sustaining Mutulani Development

By Mary Mutuku | Project Officer

It is my pleasure to present our project progress report for the 2nd quarter (April-June 2018). The project; provide safe and clean water for 1500 children and women, is aimed at improving water supply to Mutulani community, in Makueni County, Kenya During this project period, the Mutulani community has had a bumper harvest after successful rains experienced between February - May 2018. The community was also active harvesting rain water during the rains though Kyanduu Earth dam almost burst its banks however community efforts restored the dam using locally available materials The Mutulani community and Mutulani Secondary School leadership has been following Makueni County government to ensure the borehole secures a budgetary allocation to be equipped during 2018/2019 financial year. This was approved as reported by the Mawe Secretary and Project implementation Committee chair. The project is expected to be completed once implementation of the government cycle begins PEN on behalf of Mutulani fraternity posted a new project to Global Giving "Giving Children a Chance to Learn and Grow" Find the link below to the project: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/giving-children-a-chance-to-learn-and-grow/ The project has began to attract local donors and has laid fundraising strategies to ensure the project objectives are achieved within the stipulated time We would like to appreciate all our donors and request them to consider sharing our new project with friends and relatives We are indebted to all the support given towards this project by all our donors Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
