The Provide safe and clean water for 1500 children and women project was aimed at improving water supply and sustaining it to serve the Mutulani community in Makueni County,Kenya.
This project is in its final stages of distributing borehole water to the Mutulani community after giving all the community institutions of Mutulani Primary and Secondary and the Mutulani community Dispensary. This stage is a critical one and is bringing different partners to ensure that the project is sustainable through embracing the use of technology to distributewater to the community.
In this phase we are in the process of initiating a partnership with experts to learn lessons of the most successful water projects and the approaches used to enhance success as well as lessons from the failed projects. We are also reviewing all the water project documents prepared by the Project Management Commitee and bringing the water users to work out this stage together and move to the next phase.
