The food scarcity is a severe issue that impacts the optimal growth and development of young children that Albergue supports. With your help, we can make it possible for a child to eat three meals a day and the essential nutritional follow-up necessary for their integral development.
"Hi, my name is Beto and I'm 9 years old. During COVID-19 my mom lost her job and my little brothers and I had to come to Albergue because at home we had nothing to eat" What if you invited Beto to eat a healthy meal? Like Beto, there are millions of children in Mexico whose families do not have enough income to bring their children the three meals a day. Can you imagine what is like to have only one meal a day or maybe not even that?
All donations to this project will support 78 children currently living in the Albergue to have healthy food 3 times a day. How Your Donation Will Be Used: Purchase of nutritious and quality supplies. Preparation of food for the children and youth. Nutritional and medical follow-up periodically to guarantee their health and development. With your help, we will provide them what they need to grow healthy and strong.
Children and adolescents of the Albergue will be able to concentrate on their studies and improve their grades. Our main goal is to improve their quality of life by bringing them food, housing, medical and psychological care and comprehensive training, helping them to develop the necessary skills to reintegrate into society as good people. If each one of us would invite today's meal to one of these children, we could make sure that they all have a meal. One meal makes a huge difference!
