Invite a child in need one healthy meal

We are very happy to start a new year at your side and we take this opportunity to tell you about our achievements this year 2023, a year that allowed us to learn and grow.

Thanks to your contribution, it was possible to provide our children and adolescents at the Albergue with the Nutrition Program without any pause. They were able to have their three nutritious and balanced meals, as well as their two healthy snacks a day, all scheduled and supervised by the nutritionist.

During the year, approximately 60,000 complete and healthy meals and 40,000 nutritious snacks were served to our users. As we have shared with you on other occasions, in our Institution we highly value education and we consider it fundamental that our children and their families have access to the knowledge that will enable them to change the necessary habits to improve their quality of life.

Therefore, in 2023, different workshops were given to promote healthy and active lifestyles. We were able to provide 25 nutrition workshops and 140 sports workshop sessions to our children and adolescents. This undoubtedly contributed to strengthen the actions that are carried out daily to improve the nutritional health of our users and combat the levels of malnutrition with which most of the children enter the Albergue.

We are infinitely grateful to you for standing by our side and giving us the support to help our children get closer every day to the fulfillment of their dreams. Estamos muy contentos de iniciar un nuevo año a tu lado y aprovechamos esta oportunidad para contarte nuestros logros este 2023, un año que nos posibilitó aprendizaje y crecimiento.

Gracias a tu contribución, fue posible brindar a nuestros niños y adolescentes del Albergue el Programa de Nutrición sin pausa alguna. Ellos pudieron tener sus tres comidas nutritivas y balanceadas, así como sus dos refrigerios saludables al día, todos programados y supervisados por la nutrióloga.

Durante el año, se sirvieron a nuestros usuarios aproximadamente 60,000 comidas completas y saludables, así como 40,000 refrigerios nutritivos. Como te hemos compartido en otras ocasiones, en nuestra Institución valoramos mucho la educación y consideramos fundamental que nuestros niños y sus familias tengan acceso al conocimiento que les posibilite cambiar los hábitos necesarios para mejorar su calidad de vida.

Por ello, en 2023 se impartieron distintos talleres para fomentar los estilos de vida saludables y activos. Se pudieron impartir 25 talleres de nutrición y 140 sesiones de taller de deportes a nuestros niños y adolescentes. Ello, sin duda, contribuyó a fortalecer las acciones que se realizan diariamente para mejorar la salud nutricia de nuestros usuarios y combatir los niveles de malnutrición con los que ingresan la mayoría de los niños al Albergue.
