Dear Patron,
As Isha Vidhya schools have been closed
because of the Coronavirus pandemic, we
would like to bring you some success
stories of the past students.
Sivasankari was a scholarship student at
Isha Vidhya’s Coimbatore School. She
joined Isha Vidhya in the 2nd grade, and
went on to complete her school studies
at Isha Vidhya. She scored 86% in the
10th grade public examinations, and
81.2% in the 12th grade public examinations.
She is now studying at Kovai Kalaimagal
College of Arts and Science.
Her experience of studying at Isha Vidhya
has been so immense that she aspires to
become a great teacher!
Kouthama joined Isha Vidhya’s Salem
school in 6th grade from a Government
school which imparted education in
Tamil language medium. Initially, this
scholarship student struggled to understand
and speak English. With perseverance
and hardwork, he scored 1107 out of 1200
in the 12th grade public examinations! He
is now studying Civil Engineering at the
Government College of Technology in
Coimbatore! Now, he even presents
papers at college seminars in English!
We hope that you are as excited as us
learning about the success stories of
past Isha Vidhya students! Isha Vidhya
educates more than 7000 rural students
in its 9 rural schools. Your contributions
directly help their education, noonmeal,
transportation, as well as school
infrastructure and facilities, and Isha Vidhya’s
Government School Support Program.
We thank you from the bottom of our
heart for all the support you have provided,
and we look forward for your continued
engagement!
If you have any questions, please feel free
to write to us at global.giving@ishavidhya.org.
Please take care, stay safe, and stay healthy.
Best Regards,
