Commodore Ashok Kumar Rai, commanding officer,
INS Agrani of Indian Navy & Mrs.Neena Rai, President
of NWWA (Naval Wives Welfare Association), Coimbatore,
and other officers & guests visited Isha Vidhya School at
Sandhegoundepalayam village, Coimbatore today.
The team took a guided school tour learning the pedagogy
of Isha Vidhya schools. They offered voluntary contributions
of the rice bags, books, biscuits & food products - given by
Naval Officers, Sailors, defense civilians and spouses of
INS Agrani, this amount was the contribution and proceedings
of sale of arts and craft made by the children of Naval
Personnel. We thank them for their contribution to educating
rural India!
Commodore Ashok Kumar Rai shared his experience
visiting the school, "It was indeed an honor and an educative
experience to watch the "Isha Vidhya" School functioning.
The staff was full of passion and these children full of
enthusiasm. The creative curriculum is indeed commendable.
Please continue to discharge your duty towards nation-building."

to interact with students and teachers of this wonderful
