Dear donors,
In rural Nigeria, nearly 20% of women of reproductive age lack access to modern family planning, leading to unplanned pregnancies, maternal risks, and economic strain. This project will provide 900 women with long-lasting birth control methods, including IUDs and implants, delivered by trained nurses and midwives.
Counseling sessions will guide women to choose the method that best fits their needs. Initial donations have been received, but more support is needed for supplies, staffing, outreach, and transport to remote areas. Your contribution will help women safely plan their families, reduce maternal health risks, and improve household stability. Trained health workers will continue providing services beyond the project, ensuring lasting access to family planning in rural communities.
Warm regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
