Education has the power to transform lives, and through your support, that transformation is becoming a reality for vulnerable girls across rural Uganda. The Girl Child Foundation Uganda continues to provide essential educational assistance to girls who face significant barriers to learning due to poverty.
This quarter, beneficiaries received support covering school fees, uniforms, textbooks, exercise books, and stationery. These resources have enabled girls to remain in school, participate actively in lessons, and pursue their educational goals without interruption.
The project also continued to provide after-school tutoring and homework support. These sessions are helping learners improve their understanding of academic subjects while building confidence and self-esteem. Teachers have observed positive changes in student engagement and academic achievement.
Scholarship opportunities remain a cornerstone of the project, helping talented girls advance to secondary education despite financial challenges. These scholarships are ensuring that academic potential is not lost because of economic hardship.
Beyond academic achievement, the project is fostering hope and resilience among beneficiaries. Girls are developing aspirations for the future and gaining the confidence to pursue careers and leadership opportunities that once seemed unattainable.
We thank our donors for their continued commitment to girls’ education. Together, we are transforming lives, expanding opportunities, and creating pathways toward a brighter future for vulnerable girls and their communities.
